Qualifications:
Mohamed Ahmed Mostafa Elshafay graduated from the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University in May 1998, specializing in Radio and Television. He furthered his education with a General Course in Program Directing at the Radio and Television Institute in 2003, enhancing his skills and knowledge in the field of media direction and production.
Employment History:
He has recently worked as a Director at DMC Channel, overseeing both the morning show “8 El Sob7” and the News Bulletin. He has also served as a Reporter at DMC Channel, producing light comedy reports under the segment “7amada 3al Segada” during the Cairo International Film Festival.
Previous Work Experience:
He has a diverse background in media production and direction. His previous roles include serving as the Executive Producer for the military maneuver “Kader 2020” and Director for Egyptian TV’s talk show “Masr El Naharda” in 2018. He also produced the Presidential Oath 2018 in Egypt and directed various programs at CBC Channel from 2011 to 2017. His experience extends to Program Director and Executive Director roles with Egyptian Television and Automated Broadcasting since 1998, as well as producing and directing for channels such as OTV, MBC, and Rotana, including scripting for “Lelet 3ard” at Egyptian TV.
Assistant Director for Events:
also worked as an Assistant Director for a variety of high-profile events. His notable contributions include the “Annual Live Concert” for Infinity Channel and “El Hafla” for Mazzika Channel in 2005, as well as the “Miss Egypt” Contest in 2004. He was involved in the opening ceremony of El Resala Channel, the “Mondial 2010” Advertising Campaign, and the “Lelet Eid” annual party by Nile Drama Satellite Channel from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, he assisted in directing the Egyptian International Judo Championship Inauguration Festival in 2004 and an Amr Diab Live Concert in 2008.

Since 2004, He has served as a Floor Manager for a range of programs. His experience includes managing “SOCCA STARS” for Future Channel and “REFEAT OMR” for Dubai Channel. He has also worked on various MBC channels’ programs such as “ELBET BETAK,” “El Youm El Sabe3,” “El Donya Ghenwa,” “Mada El 7ayah,” “Musicana,” and “Kalam Nawa3em.” Additionally, he managed “Shabab Bela 7dod,” “Faker Walla La2,” “EL Da2era,” “Sora We Sora,” and “El Haram” for Egyptian TV, as well as “EL Batal” for T Vision Company, “Ana” for Baraka Company, and “M3a Salma” for ON TV Channel.
Directing:
He has directed notable projects including the documentary “The Story of the Nile” for the Egyptian Ministry of Irrigation and the opening ceremony of the Cairo International Film Festival in 2003 for Nile Drama Channel. He has also directed various weekly programs for Nile Drama Channel such as “Hollywood Stars,” “Ya Abo Dehka Genan,” “Law Enta Howa,” “Forset El Aomr,” “Aoshak El Masrah,” and “Flash.” Additionally, he served as Assistant Director for the TV series “REMAL” on MBC Channel and worked as an editor for “Laylat Ard” and “Oshak El Masrah” theatre programs.
